Fudgy Brownies

Who doesn’t love a perfectly gooey and fudgy brownie, whether it is with a tall glass of milk, or lightly heated with a scoop vanilla ice cream on it, as a brownie sundae. Either way, it’s hard to beat ultimate chocolate brownies! Ever since I figured out a good brownie recipe, I make them almost weekly, they’re so popular in my household. They take about 10 minutes to get the batter ready, and another 20 minutes in the oven, so they make the perfect treat when you have a craving for chocolate!

YOU WILL NEED:

1 9×11 baking dish

1 large bowl

A wooden spoon

INGREDIENTS:

1 stick unsalted butter, melted

1/2 cup coconut oil, melted

1 1/4 cups coconut sugar, or granulated sugar

4 eggs

1 Tablespoon vanilla extract

1 cup gluten free flour ( I use this one)

1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 Tablespoons plain yogurt

1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips

INSTRUCTIONS:

1.) Preheat oven to 350ºF and grease your baking dish.

2.) In a large bowl, combine the coconut oil and butter, then add in the sugar. Mix together until the sugar is combined with the oil and butter, then add the eggs. Mix until the eggs are fully absorbed in the mixture.

3.) Next, add in the vanilla extract, gluten free flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Stir together, and then once combined, gently fold in yogurt, followed by the chocolate chips. The mixture will be quite thick because of the gluten free flour. Pour it into the prepared pan and bake for 20-22 minutes.

4.) Allow the brownies to cool, then slice into squares and enjoy!
