Easy Chai Latte

One of my favorite fall flavors, and honestly one of my all time favorite flavor is chai. This recipe is great for those rainy fall days when you don’t want to leave your house and all you want to do is curl up with a good book next to a crackling fire. I used oat milk in this recipe because I love the creaminess of it but you can substitute with your preference of milk, whole, almond, soy, etc. I used cinnamon and nutmeg in mine, but you can also add in a dash of ginger or even a dash of cardamom for a little extra spice.

YOU WILL NEED:

Medium sauce pan

Mug of your choice

SERVES: 2

INGREDIENTS:

2 cups oat milk ( I use this one)

2 chai tea bags

1/4 teaspoon cloves

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

2 Tablespoons maple syrup

INSTRUCTIONS:

1.) Place the oat milk in your saucepan and heat over medium-low until steaming, then add in the tea bags. Turn the burner off and steep for 3-5 minutes.

2.) Whisk in the spices of your choice, and then pour into your mug.

3.) If you want you can even finish your latte off with a little sprinkling of whipped cream.
